Minnesota’s primary election is TUESDAY, AUGUST 11TH, which is this coming Tuesday as I post this. For the convenience of everyone looking up races from the voting booth (or the people who are voting early and having trouble navigating the site), here are my endorsements and links to write-ups.

Important note: for the partisan primaries, you have to pick ONE side of the ballot. You can vote in all the Republican primaries or all the DFL primaries. You cannot vote for your favorite DFLer in the Senate race and then hop over to the Republican side and vote for your favorite Republican in the Governor’s race. However, there are also some nonpartisan primaries, and you can vote in those regardless of whether you voted in the Republican or DFL primary for the main election. They will probably be on the flip side of your ballot.

US Senate: Peggy Flanagan

Governor and Lieutenant Governor: Kobey J Layne and Paul Ference.

Attorney General: Keith Ellison

Secretary of State: Steve Simon (who is unopposed in the DFL primary)

Auditor: Zach Filipovich (who is unopposed in the DFL primary)

MN Senate 62: Omar Fateh

Hennepin County Attorney (non-partisan): Cedrick Frazier
